§ 2 Liability Ordinance (HV) - Claims Settlement; Competence Center Jurisdiction Open official source

1. The Competence Center reports the receipt of the claim to the management of the organizational unit in whose area of responsibility the event giving rise to the claim occurred and obtains its written statement.

2. It conducts settlement negotiations involving the affected organizational unit and after consultation with the insurance company.

3. If no agreement is reached, it documents the failure of the negotiations in writing.

4. It conducts any necessary recourse proceedings.
