Act on the Form of Laws and Decrees (LLD) (LLD)

1. All laws and decrees must be drafted according to the following formula

"The Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud

"having seen the draft law (or decree) presented by the Council of State

"the recitals, (if any)

decrees

"(the operative part)

(And for the final article)

"The Council of State is responsible for the publication and execution of this law (or decree).

"Given, under the great seal of the State, at ....., on .....

"The President of the Grand Council

(L.S.)

"The Secretary

"The Council of State orders the printing and publication of this law (or decree), to be executed in its entirety.

"The day and year above.

"The President of the Council of State

(L.S.)

"The Chancellor

1. If the decree, concerning a special subject, is not of a nature to be published, the final article shall be worded as follows

"The Council of State is responsible for the execution of this decree."

1. The Council of State is responsible for the publication and execution of the present law.
