Art. 69 GG - Legal Effects of the Merger

1. The merged municipality is the legal successor of the municipalities that are merging. It assumes the rights and obligations as well as the assets and liabilities of all previous municipalities.

2. The merged municipality replaces the previous municipalities in relation to other public legal entities or private parties to the extent of the existing regulations.
