Art. 2a OSR · Zone Signage

The indication signs "Parking Allowed" (4.17), "Parking with Parking Disc" (4.18), and "Parking for Payment" (4.20) as well as regulatory signs can appear as zone signs (2.59.1) on a white rectangular panel bearing the inscription "ZONE."

Zone signage is only permitted on roads located within localities.

The rights and obligations indicated by means of a zone sign apply from the start of the zone signage until the sign marking the end. The end of zone sign indicates that the general traffic rules are valid again.

A zone sign can indicate a maximum of three traffic regulations.

The signs "Zone 30" (2.59.1), "Encounter Zone" (2.59.5), and "Pedestrian Zone" (2.59.3) are only permitted on secondary roads not assigned to general traffic.

When the speed is limited to 30 km/h on a road section designated for general traffic in accordance with the requirements of Art. 108, para. 1, 2, and 4, it is possible to integrate this section into a 30 zone.
