Art. 4 Water Supply Act (WSA) - Water Fund · Water Fund

The Canton maintains a special financing water fund, which is managed by the competent authority of the Construction and Transport Directorate (BVD).

The water fund is financed through one-time and annual concession fees levied for the use of public water as drinking water. Its balance amounts to a maximum of ten million francs.

The fund's resources are to accrue interest, and the interest is to be credited to the water fund.
