Legislator summary

AI generated

The Supreme Court of Slovenia transferred jurisdiction of a divorce case from the Postojna District Court to the Postojna District Court itself, effectively dismissing the plaintiff's request for a different court. The plaintiff argued that her spouse, an employee at the current court, could bias proceedings, citing a similar delay in a prior dispute. The court agreed that the personal nature of the family dispute and the defendant's employment status warranted a transfer to ensure fairer proceedings.
