The European Commission of Human Rights declared an application inadmissible because the applicant claimed a violation of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights due to alleged procedural unfairness in their asylum application. The Commission reasoned that asylum proceedings do not fall within the material scope of Article 6, which guarantees the right to a fair trial, and therefore, this specific grievance was incompatible *ratione materiae* with the Convention's provisions.

27 § 2 CEDH.
