AN ACT further to amend the Shops and Bawkers (Business Hours)

Act, 1957.

BE IT ENACTED by the Preside.nt, by and with the advice

and consent of the House of Representatives, in the present Par1ia­

ment assembled, and by the authority of same, as follo'ws:-

T his: Act may be cited as the Shops and Hawkers ( B us i ness Short title.

Hours) (Amendment) Act, 1981, and shalI he read and construed

as one with the Shops: and Hawkers (Business Hours) Act, 1957,

hereinafter .referr,ed to as "the p r i n cipal Act".

Amendment.

In paragraph (a) ·of subsection (1) ·of s e ction 8 of the prin-

cipal Act for the words "between the 12th day of December and the

5t h day of January" there shaH be substituted t he words b e tween

of the

"

prilllcipal Act.

the 14th day of De c em b e r and the 5th day of January (both days

inclusive)" .
