ACT No. VIII of 1980

AN ACT further to amend the Shops and Hawkers (Business Hours)

Act, 1957.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Par1iament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short iitle.

l. This Act may be cited as the Shops and Hawkers (Business

Hours) (Amendment) Act, 1980, and shall be read and construed as one

witb the Shops and Hawkers (Business Hours) Act, 1957, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal Act".

Amendment of

Dan l-Att jista' jissejjaħ l-Att ta' 1-1980 li jemenda l-Att dwar

il-Ħinijiet tax-Xogħol tal-Ħwienet u tal-Bejjiegħa fit-Toroq, u għandu jin­

qara u jiftiehem ħaġa waħda ma' l-Att ta' 1-1957 dwar il-Ħinijiet tax­

Xogħol tal-Ħwienet u tal-Bejjiegħa fit-Toroq, hawnhekk iżjed 'il qud­

diem imsejjaħ "l-Att prinċipali".

In paragraph (ii) of subsection (1) of section 6B of the principal

section 6B of the

Act, for the words "8 p.m." and "9 p.m." there shall be substituted

principal Act.
