S.I. No. 16/1923 - National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2), 1923.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2), 1923, and shall be read as one with the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Consolidated Regulations (Ireland) 1916, (hereinafter referred to as " The Principal Regulations").

2. Article 23 of the Principal Regulations, as amended by Article 2 of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (Ireland), 1917, by Article 2 of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations (Ireland), 1917, by Article 2 of the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Amendment Regulations, 1919, shall be read and have effect as if the dates mentioned in Article 2 of the last-mentioned Regulations were, as regards members other than members appointed by the Council of the County or County Borough, the day after the date of the first meeting of the Council of the County or County Borough, held after the next election of members of that Council, and accordingly (subject to the provisions of any Regulations which the Commissioners may hereafter make determining or further extending the term of office of any member or members or of any class or classes of members of the Committee) the term of office of the present members of the Committee shall be extended, in the case of members other than members appointed by the Council of the County or County Borough to the day after the date of the first meeting of the Council of the County or County Borough held after the next election of members of that Council, on which date they shall go out of office.

REGULATIONS, dated 12th October, 1923, made by the Irish Insurance Commissioners amending the National Health Insurance (Insurance Committees) Consolidated Regulations (Ireland), 1916.

The Irish Insurance Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sub-section (4) of Section 59, read with Sub-section (8) of Section 81, of the National Insurance Act, 1911, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, make the following Regulations: —
