Art. 21 Ordinance of April 12, 2006, on the Central Information System on Migration (SYMIC) - Controls With the assistance of SYMIC, the SEM periodically verifies the permits issued as well as the number of the foreign population. The cantonal authorities responsible for matters related to foreigners, as well as the authorities in charge of monitoring foreigners in the municipalities, collaborate in the control tasks. For this purpose, the SEM provides them with lists of foreigners and permits, indicating their expiration dates.
Art. 21 ZEMIS-Verordnung — Kontrollen
Das SEM führt mit Hilfe von ZEMIS periodisch Kontrollen über die erteilten Bewilligungen und über den Bestand der Ausländerinnen und Ausländer durch.
Die Ausländerbehörden der Kantone und die Amtsstellen, die für die Gemeinde die Kontrolle der Ausländerinnen und Ausländer führen, wirken bei den Kontrollen mit. Das SEM liefert ihnen zum Zweck der Kontrolle Bestandeslisten über die Ausländerinnen und Ausländer sowie Listen mit den Verfalldaten ihrer Bewilligungen.
