Art. 93 Constitution of the Canton of Appenzell (Rh.-Ext.) - Cantonal Administration The administration carries out its tasks in accordance with the principles of legality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The law regulates the broad outlines of the organization of the administration and the administrative procedure. The State Chancellery serves as the staff, coordination, and liaison body of the State Council and the Grand Council; it is headed by the State Chancellor.

Die Verwaltung erfüllt ihre Aufgaben nach den Grundsätzen der Rechtmässigkeit, Wirksamkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit.
Das Gesetz regelt die Grundzüge der Verwaltungsorganisation und das Verwaltungsverfahren.
Stabs‑, Koordinations- und Verbindungsstelle des Regierungsrates und des Kantonsrates ist die Kantonskanzlei, die vom Ratschreiber oder von der Ratschreiberin geleitet wird.
