§ 39 Constitution of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, (1984) - Territory of the Canton The Canton of Basel-Landschaft comprises the territory guaranteed to it by the Swiss Confederation. Modifications to the cantonal territory must be subject to a popular vote. Border adjustments must be approved by the Grand Council.
§ 39 1984 — Kantonsgebiet
Der Kanton Basel-Landschaft umfasst das Gebiet, das ihm durch die Schweizerische Eidgenossenschaft gewährleistet ist.
Für Änderungen im Bestand des Kantonsgebietes ist eine Volksabstimmung erforderlich.
Grenzbereinigungen bedürfen der Genehmigung des Landrates.
