§ 32 Constitution of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, (1984) - Special Referenda Popular referenda may take place on fundamental questions that arise in the context of formulating constitutional and legal provisions and in connection with decisions on planning matters. Variants may be presented. When developing proposals, the authorities are bound by the results of referenda that have taken place on fundamental questions. In referenda on legislative acts or decisions, the vote may concern both the entirety of the act or decision and specific provisions thereof.
§ 32 1984 — Besondere Abstimmungen
Beim Erlass von Verfassungs- und Gesetzesbestimmungen sowie bei Planungsbeschlüssen können Volksabstimmungen über Grundsatzfragen durchgeführt werden. Dabei ist die Vorlage von Varianten zulässig.
Die Behörden sind bei der Ausarbeitung der Vorlagen an die Ergebnisse von Grundsatzabstimmungen gebunden.
Bei der Vorlage von Erlassen oder Beschlüssen kann neben der Abstimmung über das Ganze auch eine solche über einzelne Bestimmungen durchgeführt werden.
