§ 141 Constitution of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, (2005) This Constitution shall enter into force on Saint Henry's Day, July 13, 2006. On this date, the Constitution of the Canton of Basel-Stadt dated December 2, 1889, is repealed. Also repealed are all provisions of the cantonal law in force on this date that are incompatible with directly applicable provisions of this Constitution.

Diese Verfassung tritt am Heinrichstag, 13. Juli 2006, in Kraft.
Auf diesen Tag ist die Verfassung des Kantons Basel-Stadt vom 2. Dezember 1889 aufgehoben.
Aufgehoben sind ferner alle Bestimmungen des bis dahin geltenden kantonalen Rechts, die sich mit unmittelbar anwendbarem Recht dieser Verfassung nicht vereinbaren lassen.
