Art. 77 Federal Constitution of 18 April 1999 of the Swiss Confederation (Cst.) - Forests The Confederation shall ensure that the forests are able to fulfil their protective, commercial and public amenity functions. It shall lay down principles on the protection of the forests. It shall encourage measures for the conservation of the forests.
