AN ACT furthe, 10 amcnd Ihe EnUI'1<Ji"me"ts TtU Act, 1974.

BE IT ENACTED by the President , b~ and with Ihe advice and

consent of Ihe House of Represen tatives, in this present Parliament as-

sembled, and by the authori ty of Ihe same. as follows:~

I. (1) This Act may be cited as the Entertainments Tax

(Amendment) Act. 1988, and shall be read and construed as one with

the Entertainments Tax Act. 1974, hereinafter rcrerred to as " th e prin-

cipal Act".

(2) The provisions of Ihis Act shall have effect from such

In subsection (2) of sect ion 60f the principal Act , forthe words

"20% thereof' there shall be:: substituted the wo rds "\0% thereof' and

for the words '"25% thereof' there shall be substituted the words
