AN ACT further to amend the Code of Organization and Civil

Procedure, Cap. 15.

BE IT ENACTED by the President. by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives. in this present Parliament as·

sembled, and by the authQrity of the same, as follows:-

This Act may be ~itcd as the Code of Organi~ation and Civil Short ~tI..

Procedure (Amendment) Act. 1986. and shall be read and construed

as one with the Code of Organ ization and Civil Procedure. hereinafter Cop. U

referred to as "the principal law".

In subsection m of section 864 of the principal law for the ,.. .... ndmcn' of

words "not less than two hundred and fifty Maltese lirj" there shall be Ie<'ion 864 of

substituted the words "more than two hundred and fifty Maltese liri". tb< principaJ Low.

For subsection f3) of section 869 of the principal law there ....... od""'.' of

shall be substituted the following

"0) The penalty shall in ewry case be more than two hundred

In section 87] of the principal law for the words "Dot less
